I started my career as a Chartered Accountant, working in the accountancy profession as an Audit Manager. After having three children, I found that my priorities started to change, and I began to see life in a very different way. Although I continued to work in accountancy, and even run a small accountancy practice from home, I discovered the need to develop my skills in other areas.
Around this time I discovered Reiki, and came to fully appreciate the wonderful dimension it brought to my life. I had started to develop my skills as a healer, and as such decided to add to those skills, and then studied Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy. Since working in this area, the level of fulfillment and job satisfaction is unsurpassed.
As an accountant, I offered a valuable service to clients, but which was usually only appreciated to the extent that I saved them money. In the area of alternative therapy, when a client reports an improvement in a long standing condition which had not previously responded to conventional treatment, you feel you have made a difference to people’s lives.
